TUZLA Shipyard, the one-stop total shiprepair yard in Turkey, is ideally located at the mouth of Tuzla Bay (easily accessible for all vessels), north east of Marmara Sea at the entrance of Bosphorus and has built over the years, a sound reputation for quality workmanship together with competitive prices.

It was acquired by KIRAN HOLDING during the second quarter of 2007, a company with more than 50 years of presence and experience in the Turkish maritime industry.

As one of the largest commercial shipyards in Turkey, our principals focus on safety and with their vast experience and exceptional dry-dock capacity can ensure the successful repairs of your vessels.

TUZLA Shipyard has successfully executed many prestigious ship – repairing, conversion and ship – building contracts, against stiff international competition, for both international & domestic shipping companies. Thousands of vessels have been dry-docked and repaired according to the international quality standards and delivered on time to her owners, thus establishing worldwide reputation and long lasting relations with the owners.

TUZLA Shipyard offers wide-ranging workshop facilities, including a modern high capacity steel production workshop supported by inventory of more than 3.500 tons of steel, machine workshop, electrical workshop, piping workshop, painting & sandblasting department, carpentry workshop and rigging services.

Normally the shipyard employees around 800 people working in the facilities and during the peak periods more than 1800 people are working including the subcontractors.

Dock is equipped with : remote valves & pumps, draught sensors, camera system, 25/12.5 tons dock cranes, mobile cranes on dock top & floating crane supporting from sea, generators, pumps & compressors meeting cooling water, power & air requirements, safety equipment, first aid box, stretchers, etc.

The open assembly area is more than 3.200 sq. mtrs & the material storage area is 1700 sq. mtrs.

Machining workshop: The machining workshop is equipped with 6 Lathes, 5 Drilling Machines, 1 Saw machine, 5 Millers and one overhead crane of 5 tons.

Mobile cranes: Seven (7) mobile cranes from 10 to 70 tons

Forklifts: Seven (7) forklifts from 1.5 tons to 10 tons
